Revolution culminates in freedom from a king,
Now we want a president to dictate everything.
Power to the people is the phrase we love to quote,
However on Election Day we don't even go out and vote.

That's Democrazy...

Extremist views on issues make a chasm deep and wide,
Dug with endless argument and compromise denied.
Turning power over to the groups that love to hate,
And losing sons and daughters to the wars that they create.

That's Democrazy...

Shunning self-reliance as a life of doubt and fear,
The promises of government are what we want to hear.
Democracy and laziness can never be combined
Without the loss of freedom and the independent mind.

Democrazy!
